This DVD is a collection of three short films created more than 40 years ago, which have never been commercially released until now. Bud Powell is featured in "Stopforbud"; the New York Contemporary Five, in "Future One"; and Dollar Brand (Abdullah Ibrahim), in "Portrait of a Bushman". These films were produced by three young Danish jazz enthusiasts with little money and lots of love: Ole John (an amateur cameraman), Jorgen Leth (a young jazz critic), and Jens-Jorgen Thorsen (an aspiring film director).
