10x 4"x6" Photographs
Sanford Luger is a noted New York photographer whose career has spanned all phases of commercial and art imagery. His first love, however, is Jazz. Club goers will frequently see him in clubs, taking available-light black and white photos. His more abstract subjects are reminiscent of Roy DeCarava, while his style - opting for dark backgrounds - brings to mind the work of Francis Wolff.
From his recent New York exhibit at the at the school of the international center of photography, Sanford has selected ten images for a signed, limited edition of thirty mini-folios. Each 4" X 6" image is numbered, with the photographer's compression stampin the border and custom printed on semi-matte paper. The ten photos are housed in a matte black folio with a photo of the Cajun Restaurant's sign on the cover.
