'TIS AUTUMN' documents the life of the great but unheralded jazz singer, Jackie Paris. Much admired by fellow singers such as Peggy Lee, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat Cole and Sarah Vaughn, this film makes a brutally truthful exploration into the ups and downs, the private tragedies, the hopes and humiliations in the life of an artist in its least glamorous aspects. There are interviews by a host of jazz legends including Dr. Billy Taylor, James Moody, Anne Marie Moss, Mark Murphy, George Wein and many others, and concert footage of Jackie Parks' final performance.
